Classic Distinction and Earthy Warmth: San Telmo BA Project

The interior design project "San Telmo BA" is a sophisticated tribute to classic architectural heritage beautifully integrated with warm, contemporary luxury. Set across five distinct visual perspectives, this residential living room project embodies an elegant bohemian spirit mixed with upscale urban comfort. The structural backdrop features stately white walls adorned with delicate, traditional neoclassical boiserie moldings, establishing a sense of timeless sophistication. This refined framework is perfectly balanced by a rich, cozy color palette dominated by deep terracotta, burnt orange, warm cognac velvet, and soft ivory tones.

The furniture selection features a harmonious blend of textures and historical shapes. The centerpiece is a luxurious tufted velvet sofa in a rich terracotta hue, accompanied by a complementary armchair with subtle vertical stripes that reference retro tailored upholstery. Adding contrast to these structured forms is a round, organic-shaped pouf wrapped in white bouclé fabric, adding tactile softness to the room. The wooden elements, including the multi-tiered dark walnut pedestal coffee tables, add a grounded, earthy element to the layout.

Art and lighting are meticulously curated to establish a poetic, artistic atmosphere. Framed vertical artworks depicting delicate, abstract ballerina silhouettes and elegant figurative illustrations hang gracefully within the molded wall panels, reinforcing a sense of fluid movement and high culture. The lighting plan combines functional elegance and sculptural beauty, featuring a sleek, black-stemmed floor lamp topped with a minimalist glowing glass sphere that provides a warm, diffuse ambient glow. Grounded by a plush, neutral off-white area rug, this project exemplifies how to infuse traditional European architectural bones with modern warmth, artistic flair, and unparalleled residential comfort.

The round white bouclé pouf sits centrally, while a dark wooden side table holds minimal ceramic decor against the sophisticated boiserie backdrop.
